In the eyes of many Stagg girls volleyball fans and parents, Deanna Satorino will look familiar. She should.

For the past six years, Satorino was an assistant coach in the Charger girls volleyball program and was a softball coach in year past, too.

Satorino, who played volleyball for the Chargers, always wanted to step into the head coaching role.

She faces an uphill battle with a team full of sophomores and juniors, but she expects the girls to compete in the Southwest Suburban Red. Six returnees will be counted on to show the way.
