Preckwinkle to Speak at Moraine Valley Resource Fair

Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle will be the lunch keynote speaker at Moraine Valley Community College’s Resource Fair and Business Expo on Thursday, April 7.

Warren Ribley, director of the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunities, will speak during breakfast.

The Resource Fair and Business Expo will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Moraine Business and Conference Center, Building M, on campus, 9000 W. College Pkwy., Palos Hills. The cost to attend is $20, which includes a continental breakfast and buffet lunch.

Representatives from manufacturing, service, retail, entrepreneurs, not-for-profit agencies, chambers, municipalities, and other businesses are encouraged to attend this one-stop resource to gather information and funding opportunities available through state, county, federal, and not-for-profit agencies.
