Lean Enterprise Classes Offered at Moraine Valley

Knowing Lean can help businesses prepare for competing in a global market, create results that translate into bottom-line profits and save them thousands of dollars. Learn how to apply this continuous improvement process to all areas of a business by enrolling in the Lean Enterprise classes at Moraine Valley Community College.

During the eight-week Lean Boot Camp, participants will learn how business operations can reduce waste, improve efficiency and meet customer demands using Lean tools: value stream mapping, teams, change management, problem solving, kaizens, 5S and the visual workplace, quick changeover, total productive maintenance, and more. This class will be offered on Thursdays from 6 to 9 p.m., beginning Sept. 29. The cost is $650.

The Lean Leadership seminar is designed to help companies that have been using Lean move forward. Executives and middle managers will learn how to develop Lean thinking along with developing powerful Lean leadership skills to create a growing and sustainable business environment. This one-day workshop will be on Friday, October 7, from 8 to 10 a.m. The cost is $99.
