She has been a dominant leader in recent Knights' matches, winning in straight sets against Queen of Peace, Oak Lawn and Rosary. She won 36 straight games in singles play and is recognized today for her effort as the Patch Athlete of the Week in Palos.
Not to be outdone, little sister Lisa Chionis also won 36 straight games at No. 2 singles for Chicago Christian. The two girls have quite a racket going, no?
