SouthtownStar: Candidate for County Board Admits to Conviction

The Democratic candidate for the Cook County Board in the 17th District admits to a criminal conviction.

Amy Lee of the SouthtownStar writes that Patrick Maher, the Democratic candidate for the 17th District seat on the Cook County Board, pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge stemming from the attack of a fellow Illinois State University student in 1991.
