Former Palos Heights Mayor Speaks on Mosque Controversy

Dean Koldenhoven talked to the University of Dubuque about a proposed mosque in Palos Heights during his time as mayor.

A former Palos Heights mayor spoke last month at the University of Dubuque about a controversial proposed mosque that came before the city council more than 10 years ago.

Dean Koldenhoven, a Profiles in Courage Award winner, gave the keynote speech at the university and talked about his role in the mosque controversy.

Koldenhoven was brought to the university by the Lester G. Wendt and Michael Lester Wendt Character Initiative.
