Volunteer Healthy Habitat Day

We are welcoming volunteers to learn about and assist with the removal of invasive plant species in the prairie and woodland of Lake Katherine Nature Center and Botanic Gardens.

A short presentation will be held educating volunteers about invasive species and their impact on the environment, followed by removal of buckthorn, teasel, and other notorious species. Tools will be supplied, but feel free to bring your own gloves. Participants will receive free water bottles.

RSVP by emailing Samuel Huenink, Natural Resources Aide, at samuel.huenink@trnty.edu.
