Do you know where to go to vote and what's going to be on the ballot?

Cook County Clerk David Orr's office makes it easy to locate your polling place and and see a sample ballot if one is available. 

Also, for the first time eve, 17-year-olds who will turn 18 before Nov. 4, can vote in the Illinois primary. Seventeen-year-old voters who meet this criteria may want to bring a photo ID with them to the polling place just in case.

By entering your address on Cook County David Orr's website, you can double check your polling place and see a sample ballot if one is available. 
  • Sample Ballot: To see your sample ballot, go to the Cook County Clerk's website and enter your address in the Sample Ballot Builder.
  • Polling locations: You can find your polling place through at the Cook County Clerk's site.
  • Voting Hours: Polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. 

Cook County Clerk David Orr's office also will be fielding calls from voters until the polls close at 7 p.m. Tuesday by calling 312-603-0906.
