Security Threat Shuts Down DeVry, Chamberlain Campuses

Chicago-area campuses are closed Monday, Feb. 10. Schools would not elaborate on security threat.

Students are being told not to report to classes classes at Chicago-area DeVry University and Chamberlain College of Nursing locations. The campuses are closed Monday, due to an unspecified security threat.

This includes Chamberlain Addison, Chicago and Tinley Park locations. A message on the schools’ website stated:

“We were informed of a potential security issue involving our Chicago-area campus locations. For the safety an security of our students, faculty and colleagues, we are closing all Chicago area Chamberlain and DeVry University campuses on Monday, February 10 (includes Chamberlain Addison, Chicago & Tinley Park locations). All Chamberlain and DeVry University classes are cancelled. All clinicals will continue as scheduled at offsite locations.”
