Reports: Palos Teen Used Hammer to Kill Parents, Weeks After Marijuana Discovered
The Chicago Tribune reports that sources say John Granat used a hammer to kills his parents.
Media reports indicate that John Granat, 17, was found by his parents to be growing marijuana at their Palos Township home weeks before police say he beat them to death.
The Chicago Tribune reports that sources close to the investigation say a hammer was the murder weapon and that Granat mentioned killing his parents after his marijuana plants were discovered.
