Police: Woman Stole $6,000 From Her Employer

A 33-year-old woman is facing a felony theft charge after Palos Hills police say she stole a substantial sum of money from her workplace. 

On Wednesday, Nov. 13 police charged Esther Rosales, of Chicago, with felony theft after she was discovered to have taken about $6,000 from her employer.

Police say that an investigation into missing money at Insurance Navy, 10336 S. Harlem Ave., revealed that Rosales had taken the missing currency. After confronting her with the information police say that Rosales admitted to them she did indeed take the funds while working for the company.

They are a record of police actions taken on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
