Pills, Cocaine Found with Palos Park Driver: Blotter

Palos Hills police reports, March 9.

SATURDAY, MARCH 9

DUI Charge for Palos Hills Man

Richard Clark, 48, of Palos Hills, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol level greater than 0.08, improper lane use and driving without valid insurance, according to a police report. An officer saw Clark's vehicle hit the curb at about 10:40 p.m. while southbound on 95th Street. During the stop, police could smell alcohol. Clark failed field sobriety tests and was arrested. He is due in Bridgeview court on April 23.

Coke, Pills and Battery

Jennifer Campbell, 18, of Palos Park, was charged with two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance, battery, obstructing a police officer and underage drinking, according to a report. Police found her at about 4 a.m parked in a vehicle in the 10700 block of Roberts Road. When she woke, an officer could smell a strong odor of alcohol on her breath and an odor of marijuana coming from the car. Campbell opened a her wallet, allegedly revealing a clear plastic bag with a white powder that later tested positive for the presence of cocaine. An officer also noticed another plastic bag with white pills that were later identified as Oxycodone. After her arrest, Campball became violent with officers. She was due in a Chicago bond court on March 9.

Calumet Driver Faces DUI Charge

Christine Davis, 41, of Calumet City, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper lane use and driving without insurance, according to a report. Police reportedly saw Davis at about 1:25 a.m. swearing into oncoming traffic on 103rd Street. During the traffic stop, police noticed there was a strong odor of alcohol and that her speech was slurred. She also failed field sobriety tests. Davis is due in Bridgeview court on April 23.
