Palos Park Teen Met Accused Pimp Online
Police say he sold her for sex around the north suburbs.
A Palos Park teen-ager was sold for sex around the north suburbs after meeting her pimp online, Cook County sheriff's police said.
Nabil Anas, 25, of Maine Township, is charged with promoting prostitution. Police began investigating him on Sept. 23 after receiving information that he gave an 18-year-old Palos Park woman cocaine, and then pimped her out in exchange for cash and drugs at motels in Glenview, Skokie and Schiller Park, police said.
Anas and the victim initially communicated online and met in person for the first time on Aug. 8. The prostitution began days after they met, according to the investigation.
Anas was taken into custody on Sept. 24. He was charged with one felony count of promoting prostitution on Sept. 26. Anas also has an arrest warrant from Louisiana for narcotics delivery.
