Palos Park Police Step Up Patrols for St. Patrick's Day Weekend

Palos Park police remind residents to designate a sober drive or call a cab following this weekend's festivities.

Palos Park police will be patrolling carefully March 15–16, with a close watch for drunk drivers, moving violations and those not wearing seat belts.

Officers will be stepping up seat belt enforcement particularly at night when seat belt usage rates are lowest.

Police Commissioner Dan Polk reminds residents to designate a sober driver around St. Patrick's Day weekend, noting that St. Patrick's Day can be a deadly and dangerous time on roadways.
