MONDAY, JULY 4
Copper Theft
Two 10-foot sections of copper downspouts were taken from a home on the 9100 block of 126th Street sometime during the night, police said.

Sections of copper gutter valued at about $1,000 were removed from a home on Elizabeth Lane, police said.

Even More Copper Theft
Several pieces of copper were damaged and a copper valve was taken from a construction site on the 12400 block of Post Road, police said.

Threats By Text
Kenneth Holmes, 39, of the 6800 block of W. 110th Street in Worth, was charged with harassment by electronic communications. Holmes sent several threatening text messages to an acquaintance, police said.
SATURDAY, JUNE 25
DUI on 111th Street
Marc Pantaleo, 47, of North Woodland Trail in Palos Park, was charged with drunken driving and driving without insurance. Pantaleo was observed driving erratically and a breath test registered a blood alcohol level of .166, police said.
