Palos Park Police Blotter: Gang Graffiti, Post-Concert DUI

SUNDAY, JULY 29

Post-Concert DUI

Timothy McGill, 43, of the 12600 block of Moorland Drive in Homer Glen, was charged with drunken driving. Officers observed him pull into a parking lot and then drive into a large ditch, police said. He was then observed swerving between lanes before he was stopped at 2:49 a.m. at 127th Street and Southwest Highway. 

According to the arrest report, he told police he was coming from a Bret Michaels concert at Ridge Fest. He failed a field sobriety test and had difficulty discerning the police radio from the actual officers while he was transported to the station, police said. A breath test resulted in a .189 reading, police said.

Warrant Arrest

SATURDAY, JULY 21

Matas Kuoksys, 20, of the 8000 block of Barrymore in Darien was a passenger in a car that was stopped at 11:01 p.m. Officers discovered that he was wanted on an outstanding warrant in Will County for failure to appear in court and was placed under arrest, police said.

Gas Station Graffiti

TUESDAY, JULY 17

Several gang signs were drawn with green marker in the bathroom of a gas station on the 13000 block of LaGrange Road, police said. The station's owner planned to immediately remove them after police noted their apperance, the report said.
