FRIDAY, MAY 6

Drug Equipment at Stagg

A male student was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after being arrested at Stagg High School.

Traffic Stop Turned Violent

Lawrence Riley, 68, of Palos Hills, was charged with battery, obstructing a police officer, assault, failure to wear a seat belt, improper turn and driving without insurance. Riley was stopped for a traffic violation around 11:15 a.m., according to the report. Riley began to scream at the officer and attempted to hit the officer, who blocked Riley's swing, police said.

THURSDAY, MAY 5

Debit Card Fraud

A woman told police an unknown person from California had used her debit card information and made a purchase of $503, police said.

TUESDAY, MAY 4

Bike Stolen

A locked BMX bicycle was stolen from the car port of a home on Cour Deauville after the lock was cut, police said.

SUNDAY, MAY 2

Cracked Window

The owner of a home on the 8100 block of 111th Street returned home around 1 p.m. to find one of his windows was chipped and cracked, police said.

FRIDAY, APRIL 30

Cab to Motorcycle

Stephanie Bastien, 28, of Worth, was charged with theft of services. Bastien refused to pay her cab fare after she was driven to the 8300 block of 107th Street, police said. The driver told Bastien she could not pay with a credit card and she left the cab, hopped on a motorcycle and drove away, according to the report.

Rock Through Window

A rock was thrown through a window at Stagg High School, police said.
