Palos Hills Police Blotter: Teen Fight, City Worker Imposter and Man Flees Police

Palos Hills police reports, Aug. 30-Sept. 2

FRIDAY, SEPT. 2

Suspicious City Worker

A resident of the 9800 block of 81st Avenue told police that a man driving a black pickup truck identified himself as an employee of Palos Hills who had to check his house because of a water main break in the area. When the resident asked for identification, the man drove away, police said.

Teen Fight

A teen boy was left with a bloody ear after he and his friends were jumped by two other male juveniles in the 8100 block of 111th Street, police said. The teens told police they were walking home from school when they were attacked. Several other teens recorded the fight on their cell phones, police said. Juvenile officers are investigating the incident.

Fleeing from Police

Amalee Ramadan, 35 of Worth, was charged with fleeing and eluding. Police pulled Ramadan over for reckless driving on 111th Street and Harlem Avenue. When the officers exited their car to approach Ramadan, he drove off, police said.

Damaged Property

The back door of a home on the 10600 block of Brooklodge Lane was damaged in what appeared to be an attempt to kick in the door, police said. A large boulder also was found under the front bumper of the resident’s car.
