Jewelry Stolen

Residents of the 10400 block of Broadmoor Drive reported more than $300 in jewelry was taken from their home, police said. The residents told police they believe someone they had over to their home was responsible.

Jewelry Missing or Misplaced

A resident of the 8600 block of Sun Valley Drive called police after she returned home from vacation to find five gift boxes, a gold watch and pearls missing from her home, police said. After detectives found no signs of forced entry, the homeowner told police she was not sure if the items were missing or misplaced, according to reports.

Bad Checks

Two fraudulent checks were cashed at the , 9911 S. Roberts Road, for $752.66 and $843.75, police said. Detectives are investigating.

Fight At Stagg

Police responded to a large fight at  around 8:30 a.m. Four female students were charged with mob action and will be petitioned to juvenile court, police said. Police say they were not informed of any reason for that fight, other than that two students came to school saying they were going to start a fight.
