Palos Hills Police Blotter: DUI, High School Fight and Stolen Saw
Palos Hills police reports, May 6 to 12.
FRIDAY, MAY 11
DUI on Roberts Road
Laura Sterling, 42, of Palos Hills, was charged with driving under the influence. She was stopped at 2:30 a.m. after police observed her traveling 25 miles per hour under the speed limit. She was then seen swerving into another lane, police said. Sterling refused field sobriety tests, police said.

Locker Vandalism
A male student at Stagg High School was charged with criminal damage to state supported property after he spray painted the inside of his locker, police said.

Swiped Saw
Police say a man parked his pick up truck in the parking lot of a restaurant at 10164 S. Roberts Road and went inside to order. Another customer observed a man take a saw out of the bed of the truck and drive away, police said.
Fight at School
Five female students at Stagg High School were involved in a physical fight after one of the girls sent a message that was deemed by the others to be "trash talking," police said. Two of the girls were charged with battery and another two were charged with battery and mob action, police said.
Stolen Purse
Around 9:20 p.m. a woman set her purse down on a ledge to tie her shoe while at Durbin's, 10154 S. Roberts Road, and when she stood back up it was gone, police said. The woman reported that she had an iPhone and three credit cards inside.
