SATURDAY, DEC. 3

DUI on Harlem Avenue

Sule Marek, 22, of Orland Park, was charged with drunken driving, illegal transportation of liquor and driving without insurance. Marek was seen speeding down Harlem Avenue at 2 a.m and drove for several blocks and made several turns before pulling over, police said. He failed a field sobriety test, police said.

Party Snatcher

A resident of 9700 Kingsbury Court told police that she was missing her wallet containing cash and credit cards. The night before she held a jewelry party inside her home and believes the wallet may have been taken during the party, police said.

Electronics Reported Missing

A resident of a home on the 10000 block of South Hill Drive reported that her house was burglarized sometime between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. The woman said a television, computer, iPod and external hard drive were taken, police said. Police report there were no signs of forced entry and the doors were locked.

Fireworks at School

A female student at Stagg High School was charged with illegal possession of fireworks. An employee of the school alerted police after the student was found to have fireworks.

TUESDAY, NOV. 29

Toothpicked

Toothpicks were jammed into the locks of the front and rear doors at a business on the 8000 block of 111th Street preventing workers access to the store, police said.

Car Scam

A Palos Hills resident was the victim of a forgery when his name was used to purchase two cars from an auto auction in Matteson, police said.

Computer Grabbed

A laptop computer and a digital camcorder were reported missing from an apartment on the 7800 block of 103rd Street, police said. No signs of forced entry could be found, police said.
