Palos Hills police reports, April 1 - March 28.

SUNDAY, APRIL 1

Speeding, Underage Drinking

Effatur Rahman, 19, of Bridgeview was charged with driving on a suspended license and consumption of alcohol by a minor. Rahaman was driving down Roberts Road at 2:15 a.m. when he was stopped for speeding, police said. He admitted to drinking alcohol and two juveniles who were also in the car were cited for a curfew violation, police said.

Credit Card Fraud

A resident reported that someone opened a credit card at Macy's in her name and racked up $452 in Chanel perfume and had it shipped to California, police said. Detectives are investigating.  

Pot Possession

Mohammad Amara, 21, of Indiana, was charged with possession of cannabis. Amara was talking to police about a burglary investigation when it was discovered that he had two bags of marijuana, police said.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 28

Televisions Swiped

Two flat-screen televisions and a Blu-ray player were reported missing from a home on Cour Marquis. There were no signs of forced entry, but a sliding glass door was unlocked, police said.  

Rolex, Cash Taken in Burglary

A resident of the 11200 block of Moraine Drive returned home around 3:20 a.m. and found his front door kicked in, police said. A Rolex watch, cell phone and $5,200 in cash was reported missing, police said.
