Palos Hills Police Blotter: Damaged Mailboxes, Smelly Garage and a Chipped Tooth

Palos Hills police reports, June 5 - 10.

FRIDAY, JUNE 8

Smelly Garage

A resident of the 10500 block of Vicky Lane called police over a disagreement with his neighbor. The man told police that his neighbor was yelling at him about a smell coming from his garage, police said. Police spoke with both parties about their continued issues. 

Targeting Mailboxes 

Several mailboxes on 82nd Court between 103rd Street and 105th streets were damaged sometime during the night, police said.

THURSDAY, JUNE 7

Theft From a Motor Home 

A man called police after items were found missing from the motor home he parks in the area of the 10500 block of Harlem Avenue. Two television sets and bedding had been taken from the motor home where no forced entry was found, police said.

TUESDAY, JUNE 5

Punching Teen

Around midnight a teen girl was driving a friend home when another girl crossed in front of her car at 107th Street and Roberts Road, police said. A verbal altercation between the two girls ensued and the teen crossing the street walked up to the driver's window and punched her in the left eye, chipping her tooth, police said. The girl was charged with battery and will appear in juvenile court.
