FRIDAY, NOV. 11
Order of Protection Broken
Erik E. Mokrzycki, 29, of the 12600 block of 69th Court in Palos Heights, was charged with violation of order of protection. Police said Mokrzycki broke the terms of a court order after "he appeared intoxicated" in his home. He was arrested at 9:24 p.m. without bond, according to the report.
Drug Paraphernalia
David J. Kubin, 23, of the 11200 block of Moraine Drive in Palos Hills, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said they stopped Kubin’s car in the 12800 block of Harlem Avenue for driving 50 in a 35 mph zone and found a glass smoking pipe after he gave officers permission to search.

THURSDAY, NOV. 10
DUI, Crossing the Line
Daniel A. Pizarro-Vazquez, 22, of the 9000 block of Kennedy Court in Orland Park, was charged with driving under the influence, no insurance, driving while license suspended and improper lane usage. Police said they stopped Pizarro-Vazquez’s car in the 12700 block of Harlem Avenue at 3:54 a.m. for crossing a double yellow lane line. He was arrested after failing field sobriety tests, according to the report.

WEDNESDAY, NOV. 9
DUI, Open Alcohol
Dennis L. Compton, 33, of the 4200 block of Oakenwald Avenue in Chicago, was charged with DUI, no insurance, driving while license revoked, transportation of open alcohol and improper lane usage. Police said they stopped Compton’s car in the 12700 block of Ridgeland Avenue at 1:36 a.m. and found open alcohol. He was arrested after failing field sobriety tests, according to the report.
TUESDAY, NOV. 8
DUI, Resisting Arrest
Joseph G. Aleman, 24, of the 8700 block of 167th Place in Orland Park, was charged with DUI, resisting a peace officer, speeding and no insurance. Police said they stopped Aleman’s car in the 12400 block of Harlem Avenue at 11:57 p.m. for driving 53 in 35 mph zone and smelled alcohol on his breath. He failed field sobriety tests, and when officers went to arrest him he refused to put his arms behind his back, according to the report.
