Palos Heights Police Blotter: Trespassing at Home; Resisting Arrest
Palos Heights police reports, July 27-Aug 2
TUESDAY, AUG. 2
Home Invasion
Paul O. Abbasi, 18, of the 400 block of Shadow Creek Drive in Palos Heights, was charged with criminal trespass to property and criminal damage to property. Police said Abbasi returned home around 9:30 a.m. despite a temporary restraining order, breaking a window covering on the way in.

Drifting on College Drive
Jose F. Andrade, 42, of the 10400 block of Avenue G in Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence (DUI), improper lane usage and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle. Police said they stopped Andrade’s car in the 7800 block of College Drive at 2:17 a.m. for drifting between lanes. Andrade failed field sobriety tests, according to the report.

Resisting Arrest
Brian M. Lynch, 29, of the 1200 block of Lexington Street in Chicago, was charged with resisting a peace officer. Police said Lynch took off running around 11 p.m. during an investigation of a suspicious person call in the 12900 block of 79th Avenue.
THURSDAY, JULY 28
Smoking Pipe
Matthew J. Costello, 29, of the 4200 block of 127th Street in Alsip, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while his license was suspended, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to wear a seat belt. Police said they stopped Costello’s car in the 7100 block of 127th Street at 8:52 p.m. for not wearing a seat belt and found a smoking pipe with residual marijuana.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 27
Drifting on Ridgeland Ave
Daiva Jasenskiene, 49, of the 4700 block of 101st Street in Oak Lawn, was charged with DUI, speeding and improper lane usage. Police said they stopped Jasenskiene’s car in the 12300 block of Ridgeland Avenue at 1:17 p.m. for driving 53 in a 40 mph zone and drifting between lanes.
