Palos Heights Police Blotter: Man With Three Outstanding Warrants Faces Drug Charges

TUESDAY, FEB. 28

Driving On Drugs

Donald Cernauskas, 26, of the 2900 block of Northwind Road in New Lenox, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was stopped at 10:56 p.m. at 143rd Street and Harlem Avenue after his car was seen swerving between lanes, police said.

Under the Influence

Robin Reimer, 46, of the 15300 block of Kilpatrick in Oak Forest, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs and driving without insurance. She was stopped at 2:38 p.m. in the 12400 block of Ridgeland Avenue after swerving between lanes, police said.

DUI on Harlem Avenue

Willie Green, 31, of the 6900 block of Indiana in Chicago, was charged with drunken driving. He was stopped at 1:53 a.m. in the 12500 block of Harlem Avenue for speeding, police said. He had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath and failed field sobriety tests, police said. 

DUI on Route 83

Jordan Rotman, 21, of Zeeland, Mich., was charged with drunken driving. He was stopped at 3:12 a.m. after swerving between lanes, police said. He failed field sobriety tests, police said. 

THURSDAY, FEB. 23

Three Warrants and a Drug Arrest

John Garman, 35, of the 9000 block of Lunar Avenue in Orland Park, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing identification, driving on a suspended license and driving without insurance. He was stopped for driving without a seat belt and an obstructed windshield at 9:10 a.m., police said. Garman than gave officers an untrue name, police said. It was then learned that he had three outstanding warrants out for his arrest, police said. A search of his car found drug paraphernalia and drugs, police said.
