Speeding

Bobby R. Garcia, 38, of the 500 block of South Nagle Avenue in Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence and speeding. Police said they stopped Garcia’s car in the 12200 block of Harlem Avenue at 3 a.m. for driving 50 mph in a 35-mph zone.

Jesus Barcenas, 25, of the 14900 block of Talman Avenue in Harvey, was charged with DUI, driving on a suspended license, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane use. Police said they stopped Barcenas’ car in the 13800 block of Harlem Avenue around 3:30 a.m. for drifting between lanes. He was unable to provide insurance, according to the report.

Minor Drinking

Ariel Gonzalez, 19, of the 2200 block of Kedvale Avenue in Chicago, was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and failure to signal when required. Police said they stopped Gonzalez’s car in the 13500 block of Ridgeland Avenue around 1 a.m. for failing to use a turn signal and smelled alcohol on his breath.
