Palos Heights Police Blotter: 4 DUIs In 2 Days

Palos Heights police reports, June 10 - 11.

MONDAY, JUNE 11

DUI on Harlem Avenue

Gabriel Aguirre, 25, of the 3900 block of Home Avenue in Stickney, was charged with drunken driving. He was stopped for speeding at 1:09 a.m., police said. Accoding to police reports he failed a breath test.

DUI on Ridgeland Avenue

Sarah Juarez, 26, of Parliament Drive West, was charged with drunken driving and driving without insurance. She was stopped at 3:40 a.m. for speeding and having an expired registration sticker, police said. She failed both field sobriety tests and a breath test, police said. 

DUI on Ridgeland Avenue

Joseph Popovich, 43, of the 8600 block of Kolmar Avenue in Chicago, was charged with drunken driving. He was stopped for speeding at 3:26 a.m., police said. Popovich failed field sobriety tests and a breath test, police said.

DUI on Ridgeland Avenue

Shawnese Pelley , 37, of the 500 block of Cuyler Avenue in Oak Park, was charged with drunken driving. At 12:49 a.m. she was stopped for speeding and moving between lanes, police said. She failed a field sobriety test and a breath test, police said.
