Palos Heights police reports, Oct. 16 - 23.

SUNDAY, OCT. 23

Underage Drinking With a Pipe

Madeline Kelso, 19, of the 13400 block of Mozart in Blue Island, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, underage drinking, driving without insurance and speeding. Kelso was stopped at 2:22 a.m. in the 12700 block of Ridgeland Avenue for speeding. She showed signs of drinking and a glass pipe was found in her possession, police said.

DUI on Harlem Avenue

Lisa Dipierro, 32, of the 9300 block of 83rd Avenue in Hickory Hills, was charged with DUI. She was stopped in the 12100 block of Harlem Avenue at 4:37 a.m. and failed all field sobriety tests that were given, police said.

Brick Through Window

A brick was thrown through the front window of a home in the 6800 block of Linden Lane, police said.

Stolen Bike

A bright green Haro BMX bike was taken from the front of a home in the 12300 block of Nagle Avenue, police said. 

DUI on Southwest Highway

Michael Vanderham, 51, of the 8800 block of Harlem Avenue in Bridgeview, was charged with DUI. He was stopped at 1:18 a.m. at 118th Street and Southwest Highway, police said. He failed all field sobriety tests, police said. 

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 19

DUI on 131st Street

Richard Bowlds, 23, of the 8700 block of 163rd Street in Orland Park, was charged with DUI. Bowlds was stopped in the 7200 block of 131st Street for a defective muffler and expired plates, police said. He showed signs of impairment and failed all field sobriety tests, police said. 

SUNDAY, OCT. 16

Pot In Car, Car Over Curb

Brett Pine, 29, of the 8100 block of Octavia Avenue in Bridgeview, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of drug equipment, possession of cannabis and driving without insurance. A witness saw Pine drive over a curb and into a construction sign in the 7100 block of 127th Street, police said. Pine was disoriented and lethargic and police found cannabis and drug equipment in his car, police said. 

Suspended License and Open Alcohol

James Martinez, 21, of the 4500 block of 115th Street in Alsip, was charged with driving on a suspended license and transportation of open alcohol. Martinez was stopped in the 12700 block of Harlem Avenue at 7:56 p.m. for not having a front license plate, police said. An open container of alcohol was found in the car and his license had been suspended, police said.
