Man Had Year-long Sex Relationship with Palos Heights Youth: Police

David H. Six, 53, was arrested Monday after an investigation by police. He is charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse and distributing harmful material.

An Ohio man is accused of having a long-term sexual relationship with a Palos Heights boy, police announced Tuesday.

David H. Six, 53, of Sheffield Lakes, Ohio, was brought before a Bridgeview judge for a bond hearing Tuesday. He is charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse and distributing harmful material, both of which are felonies.

Palos Heights detectives arrested Six Monday outside of a Burr Ridge hotel after a year-long investigation into an alleged contact between him and a boy under the age of 17.

The investigation started after the boy's mother contacted Palos Heights police in December 2011 with her concerns about a reportedly inappropriate relationship between Six and her son, police said.

Six made and then sent sexually explicit videos and pictures to the youth, police said. On several occasions, Six allegedly visited the Chicago area to have sex with the boy.
