No one was injured in a house fire early Sunday morning, near 124th and 80th Avenue.

Palos Park firefighters responded to the call around 3 a.m., and battled the blaze for approximately two hours. A portion of 80th Avenue was shut down while crews worked the scene.

The street will remain closed from 123rd to 131st Street, said Palos Park Police Chief Joe Miller. The closure is expected to last until about noon; motorists are advised to avoid the area.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
