Oak Lawn Drive Hit With 2 DUI Charges

Hassan A. Kurdi, 23, of the 9100 block of Crescent Court in Oak Lawn, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding, according to a police report. Kurdi was stopped for speeding, police said, when investigating officers allegedly found him to be under the influence of alcohol. Kurdi later took a breathalyzer test. He was booked and issued a $1,000 bond.

Speeding Stop Results in DUI Charges

Matthew R. Stupp, 23, of the 15500 block of Millard in Markham, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence and speeding, according to a report. Officers stopped Stupp at about 2:20 a.m. near 7800 W. College Dr. for speeding and, after some investigating, found her to be allegedly under the influence of alcohol. He was booked and issued a $3,000 bond.

Police Say Driver Showed Signs of Drinking

Tarron M. Owens, 27, of the 6600 block of South Campbell in Chicago, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence, aggravated speeding and improper lane use, according to a police report. Police said Owens showed signs that he had been drinking after being stopped at around 1:46 a.m. near 11800 S. Harlem Ave. for speeding and improper lane use. He was booked and issued a $1,000 bond.

Blue Island Man Faces DUI Charges

Kevin D. Bond, 28, of the 2200 block of West 119th Street in Blue Island, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence, speeding, improper lane use, driving without insurance and driving with a suspended license. Bond was stopped by police around 3:50 a.m. near 7600 W. College Dr. He was arrested, booked and issued a $3,000 bond.
