Justice Man Charged With DUI

Thomas F. Holik, 29, of the 8100 block of West Marion Drive, Justice, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol greater than 0.08 and speeding, according to a Palos Heights police report. Officers stopped a vehicle for speeding at about 12:12 a.m. in the 12200 block of South Harlem Avenue. A cop who spoke with the driver, Holik, learned that he had been drinking. Holik was arrested after performing tests for intoxication. He is due on Sept. 5 in Bridgeview court.

DUI Charge For Midlothian

Shawn J. Fuller, 35, of the 14900 block of South Lawndale, Midlothian, was charged with driving under the influence, DUI with a blood-alcohol level greater than 0.08, making an improper U-turn, improper lane use and speeding, according to a report. Fuller was stopped after officers witnessed him make moving violations, police said. He reportedly showed signs of intoxication and was arrested after taking field sobriety tests. He also took a breath test. Fuller is due on Sept. 13 in Bridgeview court.
