Drunken, Angry Man Causes Problem on Palos Heights Street

A 29-year-old Mokena man was charged with disorderly conduct, according to a police report.

A 29-year-old Mokena man is charged with disorderly conduct following an angry encounter with police on July 11.

The upset and drunken man was arrested at about 11:41 p.m. in the 12400 block of 69th Court, according to Palos Heights police.

Officers drove to the area after a call came in about a disturbance, the report states.

Police said the man was "highly intoxicated" and mad, according to the report. He was standing in the road and "being loud." When attempts to calm him down failed, the man was taken into custody and issued the citation.

The Mokena man is due on July 26 in court.
