Driver Gives Fake Name During Traffic Stop: Blotter

DUI, Improper Lane Use

Michael A. Adelman, 23, of the 9000 block of Windsor Drive in Palos Hills, was arrested by Lemont police at 2:33 a.m. at Archer Avenue and McCarthy Road and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage. Adelman was issued an Oct. 17 court date in Bridgeview.

DUI Charges After Speeding Stop

Renee Rodriguez, 35, of the 2100 block of Gunderson Avenue in Berwyn, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood alcohol level greater than 0.08 and speeding, according to a report. Palos Heights police said Rodriguez's vehicle was stopped near 11800 S. Harlem Ave. An investigation by police led to the drunken driving charges. Rodriguez was issued a $1,000 bond and given a court date of Oct. 23.

Tinly Park Driver Gives False Name

Carole A. Zimmerman, 47, of the 17800 block of South Oak Park Avenue in Tinley Park, was charged with obstructing justice, driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured vehicle and driving without a front license plate, according to a report. Palos Heights police said Zimmerman gave a false name during a traffic stop at about 10:41 a.m. near 11900 S. Harlem Ave. She was issued a $2,000 bond and given a court date of Oct. 9.
