Bridgeview Man Faces Drunken Driving Charges: Blotter

Palos Heights police report, July 20.

A Bridgeview man was accused of drunken driving after Palos Heights police stopped his car for a lane violation. 

Kenneth Hantosh, 57, of the 8800 block of South Harlem Avenue, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol level greater than 0.08, driving without insurance and improper lane use on July 20, according to a report.

An officer saw a vehicle make a lane violation at about 2:38 p.m. in the 12000 block of Harlem Avenue, the report states. The cop believed the driver had been drinking alcohol after speaking with him.

The driver, Hantosh, was arrested after taking tests for intoxication, according to the report. He was booked and released on a $1,000 personal bond.

Hantosh is due on Aug. 20 in Bridgeview court.
