Alsip Man Faces DUI Charges After Stop for Numerous Violations

Palos Heights police report, Sept. 27.

An Alsip driver stopped for numerous lane violations was accused of drunken driving in Palos Heights.

Thomas J. Boyle, 24, of the 5900 block of West 124th Street, was charged with driving under the influence, DUI with a blood-alcohol level greater than 0.08, improper lane use and driving without insurance, according to a Palos Heights police report.

Police said Boyle, who was pulled over at about 3:15 a.m. on Sept. 27 in the 6700 block of College Drive, showed signs of intoxication.

Boyle failed tests for sobriety and blew over the legal limit, the report states.

Bail was set at $3,000. Boyle is due on Oct. 22 in Bridgeview court.
