1-Year-Old Child Found Alone in Parking Lot: Police
The child was not far from home when the officers stepped in.
Palos Hills police May 27 arrived at a scene in the 8300 block of 107th Street, and found a 1-year-old child alone in a parking lot.
The child was not far from home, where officers spoke with the grandfather, who said the child must have opened the door and left without him knowing.
Officers contacted the Department of Children and Family Services to report the incident.
