Palos Heights Parks and Recreation Department Set to Take Area Teens on an Overnight Ski Trip!

Palos Heights Parks and Recreation set for teens overnight ski and snowboard trip!

On February 8th the Illinois Park and Recreation Association is taking over Chestnut Mountain for an overnight ski and snowboard adventure for teens all across the state!

The Palos Heights Parks and Recreation Department is proud to be part of this exciting trip.  Each year over 500 teens from across Illinois take over the 17 lighted slopes and 2 terrain parks for an overnight party.  The teens ski and snowboard from their arrival around 9pm until about 4am.

We travel in comfort abroad a coach bus and enjoy a movie on the drive to and from Galena, IL.  The resort has their very popular concession stand open through out the night, and teens can bring their own snacks.
