Miz discuss the causes, diagnosis and treatment options of lower back pain at a free presentation to be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, at the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center in Tinley Park. Dr. Miz is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with over 25 years of experience, and has been named a “Top Doctor” by U. S. News.

Dr. Miz is renowned both nationally and internationally for his expertise with the artificial disc. Always on the leading edge, Dr. Miz participates in a multitude of clinical trials, enabling him to offer advanced technologies and approaches to his patients, sometimes three to four years before they become available to the general public. He is also experienced in treating herniated discs, spine deformities, sciatica, tumors and other spinal conditions.
