“She was extremely bright—college-bound,” said H-F High School spokesperson Jodi Bryant. “She wanted to lead and she wanted to serve. (Arielle) was well-liked by everyone.”

Arielle was a part of the colorguard for the year-end awards ceremony for U.S. Air Force JROTC's program at Shepard. She received two awards at the July ceremony. One, called the Daughters of the American Revolution Award, was granted to her for her "dependability and good
character, discipline, and leadership." The second, a Veterans of Foreign Wars Award, was given to her for "dependability and good character, discipline, and leadership."
