PLEASE JOIN US - ALL LOCAL AREA SENIORS INVITED TO LEARN ABOUT S.A.L.T., SENIOR NUTRITION AND TOWNSHIP SERVICES

PLEASE JOIN US AT ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI RESIDENCE

Members of the Lemont S.A.L.T. (Seniors And Law Enforcement Together), Debbie Schmitt, Director of Human Services from Lemont Township and Gwen Smith, Lemont Café Manager from Community Nutrition Network and Senior Services Association,  will give a presentation regarding the benefits of participating in the local S.A.L.T. group, and inform seniors about services provided by Lemont Township and also the Meals on Wheels and the nutrition programs.  

All seniors in the surrounding communities are welcome to attend.  Please call Debbie at 630-257-2522 to reserve a seat.  FREE coffee and refreshments will be served.  You do not have to reside in Lemont to join the local S.A.L.T. group.

The S.A.L.T. committee is looking for volunteers to help with the 3rd Annual Senior Expo which is scheduled for October 11, 2011 and will be held at the Lemont Township Community Center, at 16300 Alba, in Lemont.  If you can spare a little time and want to see what goes on with planning for this special event, as well as other things that S.A.L.T. has planned, please try and attend.
