Palos Park's l9th Annual Arbor Day Celebration

The Village of Palos Park Tree Body and Palos Park Garden Guild 1 are hosting our l9th Annual Arbor Day Celebration. Cub Scout Pack 3699 wil present the Colors.  Mayor John Mahoney will read the 2012 Arbor Day Proclamation.  Taryn Chaifetz, Morton Arboretum's Managerof School Programs will give the presentation "History of
Arbor Day."  After the event, all in attendance will receive free seedlings.  All residents are encouraged to attend this event which acknowledges the importance of protecting and preserving our fragile envionment.
