The Friends of Community High School District 218 Education Foundation will host their first fund raiser of the 2010-2011 academic year on Monday, October 4.
From 4 to 9 p.m. at Francesca's, the Foundation will receive 15% of the bills. Patrons must tell their servers that they're supporting the dine-and-share fund raiser.
Friends is a federally-licensed 501c(3) nonprofit organization supporting the students and staff of District 218. Proceeds benefit college scholarships, faculty mini-grants, and the purchase of equipment and supplies.

District 218 includes Shepard High School in Palos Heights, Richards High School in Oak Lawn, Eisenhower High School in Blue Island, and Delta and Summit learning centers in Robbins.
