Household Hazardous Waste Collection May 3

The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago is partnering with the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency to collect household hazardous waste on Sat., May 3 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Moraine Valley Community College, 9000 W. College Parkway, Palos Hills, IL.
Accepted: harsh chemical cleaners, paints, thinners, antifreeze, weed killers, insecticides and pesticides, and similar hazardous household products.
Not accepted: Explosives, propane tanks, fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, agricultural chemicals and business wastes. Call 312-751-6633 for more information.
