CCSS Auxiliary "Walk Against Domestic Violence"

The Crisis Center for South
Suburbia (CCSS) Auxiliary will host a special fundraising event to benefit the
Crisis Center on Sunday, August 4th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Lake
Katherine Nature Preserve, 7402 Lake Katherine Drive in Palos Heights. Check-in
and registration will begin at 8:30 am. The registration fee is $15. Children
12 and under will walk free. Participants who register before July 26th
will receive a free T-provided by event sponsor All Seasons Pools and Spas.

In addition to the Walk, the
Committee will host a raffle during the event. A variety of prizes including
gift certificates to local restaurants and shops have been donated.  Raffle tickets will be available for purchase
at the registration/ check-in table the morning of the event and priced at $1
each or six tickets for $5. Donations are also accepted for those who are not
able to participate. All donations are tax deductible.

All proceeds from the event will
benefit the Crisis Center’s emergency shelter for female victims of domestic
violence and their children. All services provided by the Crisis Center are
free of charge to victims.  To download a
