1st Annual Diakonia Dash - Charity Run

Diakonia Dash – 4 mile run through the streets of Palos Hills

September 28, 2013 – 6:00 a.m. registration / 7:00 a.m. start

Entry  includes:  Tee-shirt, goodie bag, after race bottle of water, protein bar and banana

It will run from the north lot of Ss. Constantine and Helen Church in Palos Hills. Runners will run northbound on Roberts Rd, then travel westbound on 107th, with a turn around at St. Luke's on 107th, off Kean Ave and then head back to the finish.

All proceeds from the run will go towards funding our many charitable endeavors: Feed the homeless at various local PADS Shelters with our food teams from Agape Soup Kitchen; provide food/toiletries/necessities to the needy from our on-site Loaves and Fishes pantry; provide guidance, clothing and monetary assistance to the less fortunate entering our doors through our Operation Nehemiah ministry; host an annual DCFS holiday gift giving program for poverty stricken children; support various orphanages and crisis centers; organize blood drives; send support to areas hard hit by natural disasters worldwide.
