Traffic Alert: Palos Park to Close Roads For Saturday's Parade
Palos Park will host a parade and chili cook off on Saturday, Sept. 17.
On Saturday, Sept. 17, will hold a . The following roads will be impacted from 9 a.m to 1 p.m.:
- 123rd street (McCarthy Road) will be closed between 96th Avenue (Rt45) and 80th Aveue
Alternative routes for east west traffic will be Route 83, 119th Street and 131st Street.
- 80th Avenue will be open
- 86th Avenue will be closed
- 87th and 88th Avenue will be closed at 123rd Street.
- 81st, 82nd, 83rd, Mohawk and 93rd avenues will also be closed at 123rd Street.
The parade starts at 11 a.m. and the Village Green will host various attractions throughout the day. Find the full schedule here.
