Random Acts of Kindness in Palos

Have you noticed your friends or neighbors making a difference in Palos Heights or Palos Park? We want to know about it!

Whether it's taking a stray dog to a shelter, taking out trash for a sick neighbor or helping out in a community garden, every random act of kindness is appreciated by the community.

To keep the momentum going and it pay it forward yourself, here are some ways you can help others in the community:

  • The Palos Township Food Pantry delivers food to those in need during emergencies. The pantry is always willing to take food or cash. You can reach the township at (708) 598-4418.
  • Palos Community Hospital has a volunteer program for different departments and positions. Call (708) 923-4041 for a volunteer registration form.
  • The Children's Farm and the Center offeres volunteer oppurtunities in Palos Park.
