Patch Invites You to Salute the Veterans in Your Life

Uncle. Sister. Grandfather. Neighbor. The odds are fairly high that one of those people--or someone else you know--has served in a branch of the U.S. military.

On Friday, Nov. 11, the country celebrates Veterans Day, and Patch wants to help readers honor the veterans in their lives by telling the community about those men and women who've served their country through the years. Upload photos of family members and Frankfort friends who were part of the armed services and share a little bit about why you're proud of them.

What: Palos Heights will host their annual Veterans Day ceremony in front of the Veteren's Memorial. Take at Patch's .

Where:

What: The library will host a reception for veterans immediatly following the city's Veterans Day program. Stop by to meet your local veterans at this informal gathering.
